His Holiness Gyalwang Karmapa is the Karma Kagyu school leader. He currently resides in the West and give seminars regularly through internet. His vast activity and profound teachings are a source of inspiration for both, the Gampopa tradition disciples and Dharma students and practitioners in general. Recognized by His Holiness the XVII Karmapa as the IV Jamgon Kongtrul Lodro Ckokey Senge, currently resides in India leading a private life. In 2012 approved the creation of Rigpe Dorje Donostia Association, giving instructions so that their activity was beneficial and helped in the Dharma practice.
Jamgon Kongtrul Lodro Chokyi Senge (1954-1992). He was born in Central Tibet. Recognized by the XVI Gyalwang Karmapa, whom he was an example of devotion from. In 1956 he traveled to India with his family and, later on, established his residence there due to difficulty of returning to Tibet, because of political changes produced at that decade. He traveled multiple countries teaching Dharma and developed a big social activity. (See "Projects")

Drupon Khenpo Lodro Namgyal is the main Rigpe Dorje Institute teacher of Bouddhist philosofy at Kagyu Tekchen Ling monastery, Lava, India. Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso and Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche disciple, he accomplished 9 years Acharya studies at Nalanda Institute, Rumtek, Sikkim, and 3 years retreat at Pullahari monastery, Nepal. He travel regularly to different countries to give teachings. He is a great example of Buddha dharma dedication to his disciples. Through him, Rigpe Dorje Donostia association benefits from Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche Labrang activity.
